LaRie Corbeille Sylte passed away unexpectedly at the
age of 41 from a pulmonary embolism at her home in
Iowa, on November 6, 2017. LaRie was a compassionate
and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother of two
young boys.
She was a devoted Christian who was creative, artistic,
patriotic and fun-loving. LaRie enjoyed using her time,
positive attitude and many talents to help others in her
community and around the world!

"Mimi," as her brother called her, generously supported many charities
with the items she acquired by using coupons, including creating crocheted
bags she stocked in her car to provide food, water and toiletries to the
homeless.
​
To honor LaRie's memory, MIMI's first project will be to provide the "Bear Necessities"to children in the process of being placed in a foster home. "Bear Necessities" will include a hand-sewn knapsack, Mimi bear, brush/comb, and toothbrush and toothpaste.
